Company Test Drive

By Amy Coulter from Party Plan Australia!

Joining a party plan company is a big decision. Like buying a car. And you test drive a car before paying money. So why don't you test drive a company before you pay money. After all it may be the decision that changes the rest of your life.

Have parties. Lots of them. All different types. If a particular products suits you better then others then have a party with every company that sells that particular product. Pay particular attention to the consultant and try to think about how you would be at doing what the consultant is doing. When watching the consultant ask yourself these questions: 1. Is there a lot of different products that you will have to talk about and remember. Will you be able to describe all the products in the range with ease? Some people are good at remembering large amounts of information. Others are not. Which are you?
2. What do you think about the hostess rewards. Do you feel special as the hostess. What about the customers. Are you proud to be hosting the party or are you feeling embarrased by the companies rewards. You have to believe that the company really is doing the best thing for the hostess and customers.
3. Is there a lot of talking during the party? How much hands on activity is there? Which would you prefer?
4. When the consultant starts organising bookings and orders does this process seem easy and carefree? Could you do it?

After the party has finished and the consultant has left ask your guests what they think about the party plan company? The opinion of yours guests is pretty important in choosing a company to join as they will be most probably ---------
